The exhibition “Burle Marx and UFRJ: The Modern Landscape of the University City” celebrates the work of the great Brazilian landscape architect on the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro campus. It aims to spark discussions on visibility, appreciation, conservation, and protection of his legacy. The exhibition explores the preservation, revitalization, and restoration of Burle Marx’s gardens at UFRJ, highlighting their significance within Modern Landscape Architecture in Brazil and their role in contemporary quality of life.
